Progetto Erasmus+ “ECO-CULTURAL SENIORS – art as a tool for shaping environmental competences and creative thinking of seniors”
Si è tenuto a Roccalumera, dal 20 al 29 settembre 2022 il primo incontro trasnazionale del Progetto Erasmus+ “ECO-CULTURAL SENIORS – art as a tool for shaping environmental competences and creative thinking of seniors” ( “L’ ANZIANO ECO-CULTURALE – l’arte come strumento per plasmare le competenze ambientali e pensiero creativo degli anziani” ) Codice Europeo : n. 2022-1-PL01-KA122-ADU-000072417
20 “Seniors” Polacchi ,con 2 responsabili/formatori della Fondazione “Inthinknity” di Gdynia* (Pomerania ) hanno svolto una attività formativa/educativa e di socializzazione presso il Parco Letterario Quasimodo di Roccalumera sulla tematica prescelta, ovvero l’arte come strumento per migliorare le competenze in materia di ambiente e sviluppo sostenibile nella popolazione anziana ( terza età ) stimolandone la capacità di pensiero creativo.
L’Ente ospitante è il “ CENTRO STUDI DI CULTURA EUROPEA “ di Roccalumera , Organizzazione della galassia del Parco Letterario Quasimodo che associa varie organizzazioni che operano nei settori sociali e della formazione , presieduto dall’Avv. Carlo Mastroeni .
Gli “allievi della terza età “ partecipanti sono stati impegnati in molteplici attività : ovviamente uno studio sul Parco Lettererario e sul Poeta Premio Nobel per la Letteratura 1959 Salvatore Quasimodo, uno studio del patrimonio artistico ed ambientale del comprensorio jonico messinese e della Città di Messina .
Inoltre, hanno approfondito la cultura italiana e siciliana in particolare sotto vari aspetti, dalla lingua alla cucina, alle tradizioni locali . Sotto l’aspetto ambientale hanno studiato sia la “bandiera blu” che è stata assegnata a vari Comuni Jonici e l’attività di “Plastic Free “ , sopratutto a Roccalumera .
Insomma tante giornate di full-immersion in Sicilia .
Nel mese di ottobre si terrà un secondo seminario con altri partecipanti sempre inviati dalla stessa Organizzazione Polacca che soggiorneranno a Roccalumera .

*Gdynia è una città polacca portuale situata nella baia di Danzica sul Mar Baltico. Insieme a Danzica e Sopot costituisce la Tripla Città. Gdynia è una delle città più giovani della Polonia: è stata costruita a partire dal 1921 nel luogo dove sorgeva una frazione di pescatori. Nel 1939, in seguito all’invasione tedesca, fu rinominata Gotenhafen. Occupata dai sovietici nel 1945, fa oggi parte del voivodato della Pomerania.

The first transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ Project “ECO-CULTURAL SENIORS – art as a tool for shaping environmental competences and creative thinking of seniors” was held in Roccalumera from 20 to 29 September 2022, prject number ( code ): n. 2022-1-PL01-KA122-ADU-000072417
20 Polish "Seniors", with 2 managers/trainers of the "Inthinknity" Foundation of Gdynia* (Pomerania) carried out a training/educational and socialization activity at the Quasimodo Literary Park of Roccalumera on the chosen theme, i.e. art as a tool for improve skills in the field of environment and sustainable development in the elderly population (third age) by stimulating their capacity for creative thinking.
The host institution is the "CENTRO STUDI DI CULTURA EUROPEA ( EUROPEAN CULTURE STUDY CENTER) " of Roccalumera , Organization of the Quasimodo Literary Park network which associates various organizations operating in the social and training sectors , chaired by Avv. Carlo Mastroeni.
The participating "third age students" were engaged in multiple activities: obviously a study on the Literary Park and on the 1959 Nobel Prize for Literature Poet Salvatore Quasimodo, a study of the artistic and environmental heritage of the Ionian Messina area and of the City of Messina.
